Dhulikhel

Dhulikhel is an ancient town located 30 K.m. east of Kathmandu on the side of the Arniko highway. The town is the settlement of Newars and offers a traditional atmosphere along with spectacular views. Yet, today it is important main trade route to Tibet via high passes of Himalayas for Kathmandu. Dhullikhel has a glorious past which can be seen in the lovely buildings and intricate wood carvings in the shop-lined streets and temples. Panoramic Himalayan view is the main natural attraction of the town.

Nagarkot

Nagarkot is one of the most popular touristic town of Nepal located in 32 K.m. North-Eastern part of the Kathmandu valley. This village is situated at an altitude of 2135 m. above the sea levels. Gorkha

Gorkha is historically very famous village. This village is the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shaha the founder of modern Nepal. Situated on a hill overlooking the snowy peaks of the Himalaya is a beautiful old place known as Gorkha Durbar. There are two attractive temples of Gorakhanath and Kali inside of the palace precinct. Gorkha can be reached in about 6 hours by road from Kathmandu and four hours from Pokhara.

Bandipur, Nepal
