Gokyo - Everest Base Camp Trek

Trekking Itinerary of Gokyo Lake - Chola Pass - Everest Base Camp Trek.
The Everest Base camp-Chola Gokyo trek includes the trekking over the highest mountain Mt Everest (8,848m) and many more mountains over 8,000m such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Gokyo valley. This unique trek gives you eyeful views of mountain vistas and glaciers. Gokyo-Cholapass trek leads to Holy Gokyo Lake over the Cho La at 53,43m making a circuit of Tawache (6,367m), and Cholaste (6,440m). This trek takes 18 days following, highly praised trekking route through the Dudh Koshi to its source of Gokyo Lake in the west of Everest Base camp. This excellent trek gives you the benefit to summit Gokyo Ri (5,357m) offering a fantastic panoramic view of Cho Oyo, Everest Makalu, Lotche and Gokyo.   You camp at Garakshep and provides the opportunity to ascend to Kala Pattar for more spectacular views of surrounding mountains. Gokyo Cholapass trekking gives you the glimpse of Sherpa villages, homes and monasteries offering you an insight cultural vibrant of Sherpas. 

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival 1300m
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla 2805m. & trek to Phakding 2610
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440 m.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar 3440 m.
Day 06: Namche Bazar to Khumjung 3780m.
Day 07: Khumjung to Dole 4200m.
Day 08: Dole to Machhermo 4470m.
Day 09: Machhermo to Gokyo 4790m.
Day 10: Gokyo to Gokyo Ri 5357m, others excursion and rest day at
             Gokyo
Day 11: Gokyo to Thangna 4750m.
Day 12: Thangna-Chola pass 5368m to Dzongla 4830m.
Day 13: Dzongla to Lobuche 4910m.
Day 14: Lobuche to Gorakshep 5180m and  Kala Patthar 5,545m then trek back to Gorakshep
          
Day 15:Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp 5364m and trek
             back to Gorakshep 5180m
Day 16: Goraksheep to Dingboche 4410mm.
Day 17: Dingboche to Namche Bazaar 3440m.
Day 18: Namche to Lukla 2805m.
Day 19: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 20: Free day for other activities in Kathmandu
Day 21: International Departure
